One thing that I enjoy doing is cooking as does my mother in law, but she learning to cook for two instead of 4+. This has been tricky for her so I am excited to be able to give her a wonderful cookbook for Christmas that will help her. I am giving her the Fix-It and Forget-It Cooking for Two: 150 Small-Batch Slow Cooker Recipes.

I know my mother in law will love this book as it will guide her easily on how to cook for just her and my father in law. The best part is that she can just use her slow cooker which makes things even easier on her since she still works. Most slow cooker cookbooks offer recipes for a crowd/large families, and when there are only two of you, you do not want a week's worth of leftovers from one meal. This slow cooker cookbook is different as it is made for the small family.

This book will help guide you on what size slow cooker to purchase, as well as give you tips for easy prep and cleanup, plus you will find delicious recipes like: Chicken Parmigina, Buttery German Chocolate Fudge, Taco Bean Soup, White Bean and Chicken Chili, Poppy Seed Tea Bread and many more.

This cookbook is the perfect gift for newlyweds, elderly couples, or anyone who is too busy to spend hours in the kitchen, these recipes will put just the right amount of home-cooked food on your table with little time needed.
