Add Some Flair To Your Hair

Do your kids love doing fun and funky stuff with their hair? I know my kids and especially on spirit days at school. I was always afraid of using hair color even temporary on their hair because I was afraid that it may not wash out. Yes I know that it not washing out is a long shot but still that thought was always in the back of my mind. Also my oldest has super dark hair like his dad and I and the others have lighter hair so I never knew what would work for all of them.

Recently Jake and I went on a overnight getaway to the HideAway Country Inn in Bucyrus, OH. We were very much looking forward to a nice quiet evening away from the kids. Don't get me wrong, we love our kids, but we also love to be able to enjoy just each other as well. I think it's good for all couples to be able to find some time to enjoy each other.

One thing that I have always loved to do is add my own special touches to my home. One way that I have found to do this is with wall decals. I love choosing a decal for different areas of my home. I had several decals at our old house and am excited to start putting them up at our new home. I was recently sent a wonderful decal from Vinyl Disorder to put up.

When it's cold outside and you just can't bring yourself to go outside to play what do you do for fun with your family? We play games and do puzzles but after awhile we get bored with them and start looking for something entertaining to do. I dislike cold weather and typically find myself closed in during the winter going crazy with the kids that have a bunch of stored energy. Luckily for me Ohio has some great indoor water-parks within a short driving distance from our home. So we surprised the kids with our annual weekend getaway to Castaway Bay.
