Three Bridges Pasta: When Gourmet Meets "Good To Go"

Three Bridges

Finally early spring has arrived! The time for segueing your New Year's resolutions into swimsuit season resolutions. In both seasons, I always find myself making goals that I always struggle to keep. I tell myself that I will stay in and cook more, dropping the guilty convenience of fast food for healthier homemade meals. I usually end up spending all my time looking up recipes that I think my family will enjoy and then never even make them. Finding meals that please a big family and are quick to make and healthy enough to fit into our lifestyle goals can at times feel impossible.

So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Three Bridges, delicious pastas and sauces made with simple, wholesome ingredients. All their products are free from artificial colors, sweeteners, preservatives, antibiotics and hormones. It is so nice to look at the nutritional information and feel good about what you are putting on the table for your family.

My family got the privilege to review the DVD before it was released. Somehow we missed this wonderful movie while it was in the theater, but I am super excited to own it for my family.

Anyone that knows our family knows we loves to grill and we love a good hamburger as well. Now thanks to Cave Tools we are able to grill up the perfect hamburger!

A Honey Pot even Pooh would Love

One thing that I love to do for the Holiday's is bake. I bake for my children, family and friends and everyone seems to have a different thing I make that is their favorite. So when the Holiday's come around I usually spend days on end in the kitchen making everyone's favorites. But as long as everyone leaves happy because they got their favorites is all the thanks I need. I love to see everyone happy and enjoying their favorite baked treats.

25 Kitchen Tips and Tricks

So I am always finding new little tricks to help me in the kitchen and I wanted to share some with you. I have a list of 25 Kitchen Tips for you below. If you try and any let me know how they work for you or if you have a tip feel free to leave it in a comment.

Taco Night - Make your own crunchy taco shells without frying. If your corn or flour tortillas are stiff, heat them quickly on a hot griddle, then lightly spray both sides with cooking oil. Drape tortillas over two clean bars of an oven rack and bake at 375*F until crisp, about 10 minutes.

Cheese Plate - The perfect cheese plate is all about balance. Choose cow, sheep, and goat varieties from distinct categories - creamy, crumbly, funky, fresh. Serve with something pickled, salty (olives), crunchy (nuts), and sweet (fruit). Good bread and crisp crackers are the finishing touches.

Cool Down - An ice pack is handy for everything from a black eye to a box lunch. An inexpensive, simple alternative is to soak a basic kitchen sponge in water and freeze it in a small ziplock bag. As the water melts, it is reabsorbed by the sponge, which stays sealed inside.
