Cookin' Up Thursday: Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Welcome to Cookin' Up Thursdays by Andersons Angels and The More The Merrier. This is a blog hop for and about delicious Recipes! We are hoping that this hop will help all you busy moms with getting yummy dinners on the table for your families without having to spend a ton of time in the kitchen. This week I am sharing with you my recipe for my Sausage Breakfast Casserole.

What You Need:
1 package of butter crescent rolls
1 lb sausage
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 cups cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

What You Do:
Preheat your oven to 350*.
Cook your sausage and drain the grease.
Lightly spray a 9x13 pan. Unroll crescent rolls and press into the bottom of your 9x13 pan, make sure to press the seams together of the crescent rolls to seal them.
Spread your sausage over the crescent rolls.
In a medium bowl whisk eggs, milk and salt n pepper until well blended.
Pour egg mixture over sausage and then top with cheese.

Bake for 25-35 minutes or until the center is set.

  1. I have always found casseroles the best way to clean out the cupboard. You can add a variety of things together and it usually turns out ok.
