Vacation Myrtle Beach: Crown Reef Resort

My family was given the wonderful opportunity to spend our 2017 Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach at the Crown Reef Resort through Vacation Myrtle Beach. With us being such a large family it is hard to find hotels and resorts that can adequately fit us all in one room. I was very pleased with our Oceanfront Suite at the Crown Reef Resort. The room was very spacious as it had a fully equipped kitchen, 2 queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a Murphy/wall bed, in room-safe and more which made it big and perfect for my big family. Our room also had a balcony that over looked the ocean where we were able to sit and watch dolphins play one day. I liked that they had protective covers on the beds to protect against bed bugs. With so many people coming in and you never know what they bring with them I liked seeing the protective covers. 

Myrtle Beach Safari: TIGERS Experience

While on our Thanksgiving trip to Myrtle Beach, my family got the great pleasure of going to the T.I.G.E.R.S. Experience at the Preservation Station. This was a memory maker that my children will never forget. Angel got to feed an adult tiger, Bubba got to bottle feed a tiger cub, a monkey tried to steal Pumpkins hat and also held hands with Peanut. Since two of my children are under the age of 6 we could not go to the Myrtle Beach Safari tour but we were able to go to the Preservation Station for the T.I.G.E.R.S. Experience they have available for all ages.

When you have children or take care of them you know how much of a pain diaper rashes can be. I know that we have dealt with some rashes in the past that seemed like nothing would work on them. Now that Peanut is eating more table foods we are getting more diaper rashes from his stools being different then what his skin was used to.

When it comes to taking care of a baby and buying baby products one brand that instantly pops into my head is Baby Magic. It is a brand that has been around for many years 65 years to be exact and been used on many babies including myself and my children. When I was pregnant with Peanut I got the opportunity to work with Baby Magic and enjoyed it so when they asked to work with me again I didn't hesitate.

Philly CheeseSteak *Crock Pot Recipe*

I am always looking for new and simply recipes to feed my family. Since we are very busy with school, work, Cheer, Awanas and more I need quick and easy meals to fix my family. I have also been trying to fix new foods for my family to eat so we are not always eating the same old stuff over and over again. This week I decided to make Philly CheeseSteak sandwiches with fries and a homemade cheese sauce for the fries. I was very happy with how everything turned out and wanted to share the recipe with you.

What you Need:

2 large packs of sliced philly steak meat

1 Large Onion (sliced into thin pieces)

1 Large Green Pepper (sliced into thin pieces)

Seasoning Salt 

 Pepper

Garlic Salt

Provolone Cheese

What you Do:

Spray your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.

Layer the meat with the peppers, onions and seasonings.

Set the crock pot on Low and let it cook until done.

I served the meat on toasted buns with provolone cheese.

One thing that I have never been a fan of is putting bags under my strollers because it just makes them very difficult to when you need to get things out. One thing that I love to do is craft and make stuff in my spare time. One of my favorite things to make is cards that I can give to people especially my secret sister at church. Does your family love to snack? Mine does and a couple things we love are pretzels and crackers. But they are not always easy to use with dips. That is until now. My family loves to use Pretzel Crisps with some of my favorite dips which I will be sharing one of my recipes below. Pretzel Crisps are the great combination of  pretzels and crackers together.

Do you have a little one who is cutting teeth and wanting to stick everything in their mouths? Well that's where I currently am with Peanut. He is 6 1/2 months old and has all the signs of teething but no teeth yet. Anything and everything he can currently stick in his mouth to chew on he does.

Do your kids love doing fun and funky stuff with their hair? I know my kids and especially on spirit days at school. I was always afraid of using hair color even temporary on their hair because I was afraid that it may not wash out. Yes I know that it not washing out is a long shot but still that thought was always in the back of my mind. Also my oldest has super dark hair like his dad and I and the others have lighter hair so I never knew what would work for all of them.

One thing that I have always loved to do is add my own special touches to my home. One way that I have found to do this is with wall decals. I love choosing a decal for different areas of my home.
